Getting Personal...

Again I want to say thank you for taking the time to come visit me here.

I asked you what you wanted to see here, so amongst my random musings, I will be writing about fitness, London, travel when I am lucky enough to, recipes, lifestyle, my classes, events I’ve been to, events I’m hosting... hopefully lots more, and all with accompanying photos don't worry!



For a long time I always considered my voice, my views, my opinions uninteresting to others… and I’m sure that they will be to a lot of people. Something that I came to learn about myself through becoming a yoga teacher is that I can’t please everyone, and nor do I want to. Whether that be in a yoga class, through my opinions, or the way I choose to live my life, I don’t care if people don’t like it! And that is such a liberating feeling! When I stopped trying to please everyone and live by other’s standards I finally gave myself the freedom to truly be myself, and that is what I try to do in all aspects of my life. The way I teach, the way I dress, the way I speak are all authentically me. Not to say that I can only ever dress in one way, one day I might be sporting a captain America t-shirt, other days I’m heels and diamonds. Both are me.


Anyway, writing more content has been something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now so here I am, writing… If you’re interested then read on, if not that’s cool too.


It seems a good place to start would be to introduce myself, I asked you what you wanted to know so here goes...


The personal deets...

"How old are you?", "Where are you from?", "How tall are you?", "What is your star sign?" and the classic "What do you weigh?"


So I will be 27 soon, too soon! My birthday is in January which makes me an Aquarius, I'm sure star signs for a lot of people don't resonate but mine is literally me to a T!


I am born and raised Kent, currently living in London, UK. I get a lot of people asking if I'm Australian... apparently I have a twang in my accent but nope! Just plain old English.


I'm a shorty, just 5'4" and my weight hovers around 50-53kg not that I check all that often though. If I feel good then I don't care what a number on the scale says.


My fitness journey...

"What got you into health & fitness?", "What age did you become so focused on your fitness goals?", "How did your yoga practice begin?" "How long have you been doing yoga?"


I always loved the idea of yoga from when I was young and I would always beg my mum to take me on a yoga retreat, alas she didn't. So I only started when it was offered at my school as a "sport" when I was 16. Suffice to say I wasn't really into any other types of fitness at all until I left Uni.

Up until then I lived on nachos, creamy pasta & popcorn! I was always small but at Uni I might have got a bit "puffy", as my dad likes to say! I was one of the many people who believed that to lose weight I could just not eat, I even fell for the con of buying slimming tablets! Yep, I was that lazy and misinformed.


Early in my journey compared with when I was probably my leanest. Unfortunately no photos from before...

After Uni it was actually my

(favourite 😉) brother who got me into fitness, he helped me with my nutrition which completely changed my outlook towards health. I left Uni feeling a little bit lost, as I think a lot of people leave, and he actually encouraged me to look into becoming a yoga teacher and that is what I did.


I could say so much more but I think that's enough for now, it was really that small step in starting to take a little more interest in my nutrition that got me started on the lifestyle I live now, and I am so thankful for it. So if there's one thing, eat better, the rest will come.
